Summit Prestige Home Insurance offers the discerning customer one of the most expansive covers available in the Australian market. As you'd expect it is an accidental loss or damage policy offering full replacement cost limited to the sum insured. The Policy Wording is written in ISR style so unless a loss is excluded it is automatically covered.

Prominent cover features you must consider are:

  • Flood, tidal wave, storm surge and the action or rising of the sea, landslip and landslide.
  • Subsidence and heave to the main building.
  • Vermin and Insect damage limited to $20,000 any one policy year.
  • Fixed pontoons of up to four metres in length and fixed jetties.
  • Fine art, paintings, works of art, antiques and curios at The Situation up to $50,000 any one article or 20% of the Contents Sum Insured or $100,000 in total for all articles up to a maximum of 30% of the Contents Sum Insured, whichever is the lesser.
  • Jewellery, furs, watches, gold/silver articles or objects, wine or wine collections and guns at The Situation up to $10,000 any one article, set or collection and $50,000 in all or 20% of the Contents Sum Insured whichever is the lesser.
  • Money and cheques at The Situation up to $10,000.
  • Illegal use of credit cards anywhere up to $10,000.
  • Business tools, instruments, equipment and appliances at The Situation up to $20,000 any one claim.
  • Sporting equipment at The Situation and also if permanently off site in locked clubroom or locker. Note: Losses whilst in use are excluded.
  • Veterinary/hospital costs for household pets registered at The Situation and injured as the result of an accident up to $10,000 during the Period of Insurance.
